This is a flavorful soup using ground turkey though you most certainly can substitute with ground beef. It is almost like chili, but not quite. Everytime I make a batch of this soup, I kick myself for not making it sooner! I add only a tablespoon of white rice to my cup of soup to completely enjoy the dish. The recipe is also excellent with artisan bread.
I always freeze half of the batch too because it is plenty of soup.
