Chamorro Kaddon Mannok
...Guam's chicken soup over rice with fina'denne'.

KADDON MANNOK

 PRINT RECIPE

Kaddon mannok, pronounced kaw-dun maw-nuk, is Guam's chicken soup. I did not have any cabbage, so I used carrots and celery instead. Otherwise, the recipe is the same as in the cookbook. Refrain from adding too many vegetables as they will water down your kaddo and it will not be that tasty. Also, scoop some, but not all of the fat off the top or you will lose plenty of flavor too. Fina'denne' over kado is a must!
