These cookies are absolutely to die for. I originally found this recipe in a baking book I picked up in college...or was it in Germany? At any rate, one day I covered the entire biscotti in Dove semi-sweet chocolate. Let me tell you how heavenly this was.....it's a must for the chocoloholic in you! 

In Germany, I made these for my friend Nancy when she was in the hospital after having her second baby. Since and ever since, this makes her day when she gets some in the mail.
