Welcome to Guam!
Guam is the perfect destination if you love the outdoors, if you love a mix of island life with stateside comforts, and if you love to be warm all year long. Whether you are on island with the United States military, if you're working for the civil service or the feds, or if you just wanted to stay for a little while, some things will seem familiar, like K-Mart, and others will be quite foreign, such as an ungodly amount of dilapidated, wasted buildings. Nevertheless, Guam is home to many, Guam is hot, and Guam has a wonderful, beautiful, delicious mix of local produce and excellent food.

To help you identify edible produce hanging from trees at the side of the road, PaulaQ will be adding pages of local fruits and vegetables. If you are not in the know, you are passing by some free and delicious island goodies. Stay tuned and keep coming back as this project continues.

If you've eaten a local dish and are not quite sure what it was, peruse the  More Recipes Page tab for pictures and recipes.
